The Brachiosaurus Enclosure is a paddock on Isla Nublar for Brachiosaurus. On the different maps of Jurassic Park, the Brachiosaurus Enclosure is shown in the middle of the island. The area is called "Brachiosaurus Enclosure" on the Tour the Island site. Despite its name, the area also houses a herd of Parasaurolophus.

Story[]

Jurassic park lake

The Brachiosaurus Enclosure was created for Jurassic Park to house the titular Brachiosaurus as well as the hadrosaur Parasaurolophus. The area contained mostly open grasslands with trees and a lagoon.

The Brachiosaurus Enclosure was the first attraction the endorsement team saw and all of them were amazed upon seeing the enclosures inhabitants. Afterward, they left for the Visitor Center before they started their tour of Jurassic Park. The inhabitants that lived in the enclosure were able to escape after Dennis Nedry disabled the security fencing for the paddock.

The Brachiosaurus Enclosure was most likely torn down by clean up teams after the Isla Nublar Incident of 1993 or during the construction of Jurassic World.

Trivia[]

  • This may also be the place where Dr. Alan Grant and the Murphy children entered after the Tyrannosaurus rex attack as there was a Brachiosaurus herd foraging there.

LEGO Jurassic World[]

The Brachiosaurus Enclosure appears in 'LEGO Jurassic World in a sequence of events similar to when the endorsement team entered the paddock in the film Jurassic Park.

Behind the scenes[]

The area is inspired by the Sauropod Paddock from the novels.
