Densaka was a Japanese investment consortia that helped fund International Genetic Technologies, Inc. in the early 1980s.

Novel

John Hammond had used his "Pachyderm Portfolio" to awe the firm to provide venture capital alongside Hamaguri, another Japanese firm. Both Densaka and Hamaguri were two of very few investors willing to wait five years before gaining return on their capital.

Trespasser

In Trespasser, Hammond states in an unused quote that he went to Hamaguri and Densaka in 1979 to ask for funding. In the end, only the Japanese investors were patient enough for his eight-year plan.
