Dunkleosteus was a giant, predatory fish that lived in the Late Devonian period. Dunkleosteus Means “Dunkle’s bones” in Greek, named after David Dunkle, a curator.[1]. Instead of teeth, the Dunkleosteus had 2 long blades made out of bones.[2] Dunkleosteus could eat anything, even its own kind.[3]
