Jurassic World: The Game[]

See: Deinocheirus/JW: TG

Deinocheirus is one of the dinosaurs in the game. It is a legendary tournament dinosaur. Its hump appears to be much less pronounced than in real life, until its final evolution. An interesting feature to the Deinocheirus in the game is that it has fur-like feathers, which it had in reality. Despite being an ornithomimid, in the game, it uses the same model for the therizinosaurids, Therizinosaurus, Segnosaurus, and Erlikosaurus, although it is likely because Deinocheirus looks more like a therizinosaurid than an ornithomimid.

Deinocherius appears in the game. It's a lot more accurate than the Jurassic World: The Game Deinocherius has a more pronounced hump on its back and more duck-like mouth. An interesting feature to the Deinocheirus in the game is that it has fur-like feathers, which it had in reality. Despite being an ornithomimid, in the game, it uses the same model for the therizinosaurid, Erlikosaurus, although it is likely because Deinocheirus looks more like a therizinosaurid than an ornithomimid.

Jurassic World Evolution 2[]

Deinocheirus is first mentioned in the database entry for Carnotaurus in Jurassic World Evolution 2 as a smaller prey it chased. This is inaccurate because Deinocheirus is bigger than Carnotaurus and lived in Mongolia instead of Argentina. This would later be corrected in a future update.

Deinocheirus would eventually be added via the Feathered Species Pack on March 30th, 2023. This is the most accurate representation of the dinosaur in the franchise.
