History[]

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom[]

At some point, Peloroplites was cloned for Jurassic World on Isla Nublar but was unknown where it was housed. However, after the park fell there were at least (but probably more than) two individuals, both of which had died, and one had decomposed into a skeletal carcass. This carcass was later incinerated by lava during the eruption of the island's volcano. It is unknown whether or not any were saved. However, it is unlikely and this species has probably fallen back into extinction.

A skeleton of the species was also on display at the Lockwood Manor, where it was smashed by the Indoraptor in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.[1]

Trivia[]

While not appearing in any games, it is possible that the Polacanthus in the Claire’s Sanctuary DLC of Jurassic World Evolution is meant to represent or at least replace this Nodosaurid.

It is one of two canon Nodosaurids, the other being the Hoplitosaurus.
