Trivia[]

  • It is classified as an amphibian when it is actually a reptile.
  • Koolasuchus  and Sarcosuchus cause a problem with the usual naming conventions of hybrids: the first part of one dino's name and the second part of the other's. Since they both end in "suchus" the hybrid adopts "saurus" to avoid giving it the same name as Koolasuchus.
  • In the final stage of its evolution, Sarcosuchus more closely resembles Deinosuchus in appearance.
