Therizinosaurus was added to Jurassic World: The Game on September 30th, 2015 as a Legendary herbivore.

Information[]

It is unlocked by completing the Earth Shattering event. More individuals can be purchased in the market for 3,500 DNA or found through card packs.

As of April 23, 2018 a level 40 Therizinosaurus can be fused with a level 40 Ceratosaurus to create the hybrid Cerazinosaurus.

Trivia[]

  • The roar of Therizinosaurus and other animals of its animation is partially copied from the sound of the ghosts that attacked the main character in the end of White Noise movie distributed by Universal Pictures in 2005.
  • The first evolution fact for Therizinosaurus originally read "The Therizinosaurus gets its name from Greek, meaning the 'scythe lizard'."
  • An interesting feature to the Therizinosaurus in the game is that it has fur-like feathers, which it had in reality.
  • Therizinosaurus is one of few non tournament or VIP dinosaurs to have its own card pack, thouh it is was only available in a bundle purchase with the Ceratosaurus pack.
  • It is labeled as a predator in the Cerazinosaurus Evo 1 trivia. This is inaccurate as Therizinosaurus was a herbivore in life and in the game.
  • Therizinosaurus has the lowest attack of all Legendary land dinosaurs, but it has the highest health of all Legendary herbivores.
