Triceratops is a five-star dinosaur in the popular video game, Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. It can be found in the Hell Creek Site B fossil formation with Pachycephalosaurus and Edmontosaurus. Triceratops is the only herbivore that needs security higher than "low", as it requires "medium" security fences as it is the only herbivore that rampages. It will charge Land Cruisers and kill large carnivores.
Triceratops enjoys being paired with Torosaurus or Styracosaurus in an enclosure. Even if one Triceratops is placed with a herd of Styracosaurus, it will play with them and interact as if it were in a herd of its own species.
When their needs are full, Triceratops are playful and friendly dinosaurs. They appeal to Fun Lovers and sometimes Dino Nerds, when their enclosures contain Paleo Trees and they are grouped with dinosaurs from a similar time, such as Edmontosaurus.
It is the game's most robust herbivore. Also it can go into "Death Duels" with Tyrannosurus. Sometimes, the Tyrannosaurus wins, but other times the Trike wins. There are two ways T. rex can be killed by Triceratops. One way is to stab the Tyrannosaurus repeatedly until the beast falls over and dies, which is common when herds of this animal stab the Tyrannosaurus rex together to kill the attacker. Another way that T. rex can be killed by a Trike is by impaling, in which a Tyrannosaurus stomps on the head shield of the Triceratops-but the Trike impales the rex through the chest before the T. rex can bite the area behind the neck.

The ways the T. rex can win is by turning its head low and biting the Triceratops's neck, crushing it in its powerful jaws. The second way is having the T. rex biting the Triceratops until it is killed which is the most common case in these fights.
As a five-star large herbivore, Triceratops costs $4,740 to hatch. Its fossils cost between $6,000 and $15,000 in the Fossil Market.
