An Allosaurus chases the Gyrosphere.
Gyrosphere 08 was an abandoned Gyrosphere used by Claire Dearing and Franklin Webb to escape from the lava of the erupting Mount Sibo as well as the stampeding dinosaur herd. An Allosaurus snapped at it viciously. It drove off a cliff and fell into the sea. Claire and Franklin would've drowned as the Gyrosphere filled with water, but Owen Grady, who'd fled the eruption on foot, dove in after them. Using a gun he'd taken from a dead mercenary, he shot holes in the Gyrosphere's hull, then used his hunting knife to pry the door off, freeing his friends. The three swam to the surface while the empty Gyrosphere continued sinking into the depths.
