The Heckler & Koch UMP is a series of submachine guns manufactured by German company Heckler & Koch. The UMP series as a whole was intended to replace the HK MP5, but both remain in service today. There are three variants of the UMP, the UMP9 chambered in 9x19mm, the UMP40 chambered in .40 ACP, and the most famous variant, the UMP45 chambered in .45 ACP. Unlike the other variants that have 30 round magazines, the UMP45 only has a 25 round magazine.
The UMP was in the use of InGen Security Division BY 2015.
