Biography[]
Confronting the gatherers[]
Following the Tyrannosaur Buck's escape and rampage across San Diego, gatherers Ian Malcolm and Sarah Harding devised a plan to lure the creature back into the S.S. Venture's cargo hold where it can be trapped, using its infant as bait. After the two reached the amphitheater's security gate, the guard was among those who attempted to stop them, only for them to crash through the shutter anyway and forcing the security personnel present to duck out of the way. The guard and one of his colleagues subsequently followed the two into the facility in which the juvenile Tyrannosaur was housed.
Malcolm and Sarah retrieved the infant and placed him in the back of their car. Just as they were about to drive off, the security guard and his colleague confronted them, pointing their pistols at the two and ordering them to stand down. However, Malcolm called their bluff and the two withdrew their weapons as he drove off.

The guard was armed with a Colt M1911A1, which he eventually used to threaten the gatherers.
