Raptors Attack I is the first issue of the Jurassic Park: Raptors Attack series, the second comic book series continuation of Jurassic Park. This issue follows the issue Raptor II, which concluded the series Jurassic Park: Raptor.
Story[]
After the plane crash, Drs. Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler wake up to find themselves held captive in the Colombian jungle by a drug lord called Rafael Santos. Rafael shares with them that he plans to train the stolen Velociraptors up as guard dogs for his 'clinic' and that Grant and Sattler are to care for the raptors' wounds after they undergo their shock-stimulation training. In the meantime, Grant and Sattler tend to the already injured raptor, who they later name 'Celia'. Surprisingly, the raptors do not attack Grant and Sattler while they are treating them.
The army becomes aware of the cargo plane that landed in the Colombian jungle and, considering the five missing raptors, they decide to take action.
After Rafael's harsh training of the raptors continues for days, the training starts to yield results. Rafael soon sets the raptors loose on a search team of soldiers sent into the jungle. The raptors kill all of the soldiers successfully.
