This is a list of all movies, TV show episodes and other outside media that in one way or another make references or parodied the Jurassic Park franchise.

Universal Studios

We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story

• Jurassic Park is mentioned in front of a theater during the song "Roll Back the Rock (To the Dawn of Time)". Steven Spielberg made a cameo appearance wearing an Amblin Entertainment cap (the film production company that produced this movie with Universal Studios along with Jurassic Park) among the crowd as they cleared the scene when the dinosaurs' cover was blown after the song.

The Land Before Time XIV: Journey of the Brave

• The Carnotaurus (known as a Horned Sharptooth) who appears near the end of the film has a roar similar to the T. rex roar.

Ted

• During the opening credits, the movie poster for Jurassic Park can be seen in Ted and Johnny's bedroom when they were watching a news report of Ted getting busted by airport security for getting caught with mushrooms.

Ted 2

• The scene where Ted, John and Samantha found a cannabis field parodied the scene of Hammond and the endorsement team's encounter with the Brachiosaurus. The song from that scene was also heard in the background, and Ted even quoted Alan Grant's line, "They're moving in herds. They do move in herds."

The Great Wall

• Some of the sounds made by the Taoties, the monsters in the film, are mostly those from the T. rex's. At one point, during their invasion in the capital city, a Taotie makes a screech that sounds like the Velociraptor.

DreamWorks Animation

Shrek

• The way Dragon eats Lord Farquaad was similar to how the Tyrannosaurus ate Donald Gennaro.

Shrek 2

• The way the coffee in a pair of teacups rippled from Mongo's footsteps was a reference to the water cup's reaction to the arrival of the Tyrannosaurus.

Shark Tale

• The ripples in the slime bucket predicting a whale's indigestion referenced the Jurassic Park water cup rippling from the footsteps of Tyrannosaurus.

Rise of the Guardians

• Part of John Williams' score for Jurassic Park was mixed in with the music for a scene featuring dream sand sauropods moving through the neighborhood.

The Croods

• When Chunky the Macawnivore prepares to chase the Croods for the 1st time, the roar of Tyrannosaurus roar was mixed into his.

Illumination

The Secret Life of Pets 2

• A turkey chases Max and momentarily shares the same noises with the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Minions: The Rise of Gru

• In a promo for the movie in conjunction to Jurassic World: Dominion, Bob and Stuart attempt to communicate to a T. rex.

Hercules

• The Hydra made a growing sound of the T. rexes from the Jurassic Park movies & at one point one of the heads made the sound of a Gallimimus from the franchise.

Dinosaur

In some scenes of the movie there are various sound effects of the Dinosaurs of Jurassic Park like the Velociraptors & T. rexes that are heard in the Disney film Dinosaur.

Atlantis: The Lost Empire

• Preston B. Whitmore, owner of Whitmore Industries, close friend of Thaddeus Thatch and the financier of the Iceland Expedition in 1911 and the Atlantean Expedition in 1914 was based on John Hammond from the first two Jurassic Park films.

• The surviving Leviathan 's roar when it pursues the remaining subpods and Aqua-Evacs containing the Atlantean Expedition crew was actually a roar of a Gallimimus from Jurassic Park.

• Eddie Carr's scream during his final moments in The Lost World: Jurassic Park was used twice during Lyle Tiberius Rourke's final moments, firstly during his crystallization as he screams in pain, the second as he screams in fright before he is blasted to pieces by the propeller blades of the burning Gyro-Evac.
  • Rourke's personality and motive as a whole bare a striking resemblance to Lewis Dodgson.

Atlantis: Milo’s Return

The giant ice yeti the heroes encounter makes the same sounds as the T. rex.

Leroy & Stitch

• Right after the B.R.B “Big Red Battleship” took off, a sign banner that said “Welcome Captain Stitch” flown down similarly to the "When dinosaurs ruled the earth" banner fell down at the end of Jurassic Park.

Old Dogs

• The gorilla uses some sounds from The T-rex, and the penguins use sounds from the Velociraptors.

Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers

• When Sweet Pete was chasing Chip and Dale, he roared as a sign banner flown down similarly in fashion to the T. rex roaring and the "When dinosaurs ruled the earth" banner fell down.

Toy Story

Sid's Pteranodon figure looks similar to the Pteranodon from Kenner 's Jurassic Park Series 1 toy line.

Toy Story 2

In one scene in Toy Story 2, Rex is running towards the car with the other toys in it. Mr. Potato Head looks at one of the side view mirrors. This scene is a reference to when the Tyrannosaurus rex is chasing the Jeep 10 from Jurassic Park. In addition, Al McWhiggin, the secondary antagonist of the movie, is voiced by Wayne Knight, who played Dennis Nedry.

Toy Story 3

In the opening western sequence that takes place in Andy's imagination, Rex roars using the same Tyrannosaurus roar sound effect from the movie.

Rex's roar is a complete duplicate of the T. rex in the movie.

A Bug's Life

• Dim the rhinoceros beetle used the same roars as the Tyrannosaurus rex during the circus act and to help Princess Dot scare away Thumper the grasshopper.

The Good Dinosaur

• After Arlo let out a scream, Bubbha the Velociraptor and his pack of rustlers were seen moving toward Arlo in the tall grass, similar to how there were Velociraptors in the long grass from The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

• With the herd of Longhorns still Stampeding, Nash & Ramsey's father, Butch, was fighting with two Velociraptors that were part of Bubba's pack. The battle between Butch and the Velociraptors was similar to the T. rex Rescue Scene in the Visitor Center from Jurassic Park.

Dr. Dolittle

• When Maya's egg hatches into a baby alligator, Rodney the guinea pig compares the situation to Jurassic Park, thinking it will eat everyone.

Avatar

• The roar of the thanator is very similar to the T. rex in Jurassic Park.
• The call of the direhorse is the same as the cry made by the Velociraptor that calls to her packmate in the kitchen scene when Tim and Lex are hiding.

Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

• The Hydra uses the same sounds as the Jurassic Park T-rex.

Saban

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie

• The rangers come across a graveyard of dinosaur skeletons while searching for the hidden temple on Phaedos that holds the great power. Here, Adam says "Welcome to Jurassic Park".
  • To further serve irony, one of the dinosaur skeletons that comes back to life does in fact use sounds shared from the T-rex of that film.

Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie

• The sounds that Maligore makes include ones used by the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

• When seeing the T. rex, Manny quotes Alan Grant: "Nobody.....move.....a muscle".
  • The conflict between T. rex mother and Rudy is similar to the Spinosaurus vs. T. rex Scene.
• Although Rudy is actually a Baryonyx, his antagonistic nature is the same as the Spinosaurus from Jurassic Park III. This could be a reference to the early version of Jurassic Park III, where the new predator was a Baryonyx.
• The T. rex mother made sound of the sick Triceratops from Jurassic Park.

Paramount Pictures

The Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult

• The beginning intro features a stop-motion Tyrannosaurus similar in appearance to Rexy from the original Jurassic Park.
• At the academy awards ceremony a film titled "Geriatic Park" that parodies the T. rex breakout scene from Jurassic Park.

The Indian in the Cupboard

• A T-Rex toy was among the toys brought to life by Omri using the cupboard one night. It dueled against Darth Vader before they and the other toys noticed Omri who turned them back into toys.

Cloverfield

• Some of the monster’s vocalizations were slowed down Tyrannosaurus rex exclamation growls.

Godzilla (1998)

• One of the baby Godzillas in Madison Square Garden tries to push open the door with its snout just like the Velociraptor known as The Big One was opening the kitchen Door in Jurassic Park.

Zombieland: Double Tap

• In the intro when a "Hawking" zombie used the eye of a dead scientist to unlock the iris recognition scanner to the door containing another scientist, the narrator (Tallahassee) responded "Clever girl.".

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2

• Sam's outfit is similar to the one that Ellie Sattler wore in the first Jurassic Park film.
• The scene with Flint and the gang running in the middle of the stampede of Bananostriches is similar to the scene with Alan Grant, Lex and Tim running in the middle of the stampede of Gallimimus in the first film.

Scooby-Doo! Legend of the Phantosaur

• The movie pays a lot of homage to Jurassic Park:
  • The raptors chase Shaggy and Scooby into the kitchen, which is modeled and a spoof of the infamous kitchen scene.

Kong: Skull Island

• As their helicopters are about to depart for Skull Island, Preston Packard quoted Ray Arnold's line "Hold on to your butts!" Interestingly enough, both characters are played by Samuel L. Jackson.
• At a couple points in the film, Kong makes sounds similar to the Indominus rex from Jurassic World.
• Hank Marlow refers to the giant Skullcrawler as “The Big One”, referencing the leader of the Velociraptors from the first Jurassic Park film.

Ready Player One

• The original T. rex herself acts as a challenge on a racetrack.

  

Rampage

• The raspy sounds made by the T. rex in The Lost World: Jurassic Park were reused for the sounds of Lizzie the giant mutated crocodile.

LEGO

The LEGO Batman Movie

• Velociraptors and a Tyrannosaurus rex are among the inhabitants of the Phantom Zone.

Other movies

Dinosaur Island (2002)

• Tyrannosaurus rex makes the same roar from the first film.
• Pteranodon made sounds from Dilophosaurus and Gallimimus.

T-Rex: Back to the Cretaceous

• An Ornithomimus stolen one of the Mother T. rex's eggs but was being chased by Momma T. rex and Ally. Cornered by a wide river stream, Momma T. rex caught up with the egg thief. Then she grabs the Ornithomimus with her jaws then she shakes and throws the egg eater away, similar to the scene where The Tyrannosaurus caught the Gallimimus as well as the climatic scene where she threw The Big One into the Tyrannosaurus skeleton in the Visitor Center.

Waking The T.Rex: The Story of SUE

• If you look closely at the Triceratops that SUE fought and successfully killed, its pose is a little bit similar to the Sick Triceratops that was seen in Jurassic Park.

Prehysteria! 2

• A rich kid named Brendan Wellington made friends with both Naomi & the Taylors 5 mini dinosaurs. They Discovered his Father's childhood Playroom. They help Brendon get the attention he needs between him & his dad. Together they start to dust off, renovate & restoring the old train set as a birthday surprise for Brendan's dad. In one part of the scene, Elvis the baby T. rex was seen holding a green toy jeep car in his jaws, as a reference to the "Main Road T. rex Attack" Sequence in Jurassic Park.

Pterodactyl Woman from Beverly Hills

• The poster for this movie uses the same font as Jurassic Park.

Jurassic Shark

• The movie is a parody of Jurassic Park as well as another of Steven Spielberg's films Jaws, where a prehistoric creature (in this case a shark) is unleashed and attacks a group of humans.
• The title also sounds similar to Jurassic Park and a poster even has a parody of the logo.

Age of Dinosaurs

• The Carnotauruses in the movie act and behave similarly to the Jurassic Park Velociraptors.
• On a table in the lab (where Gabe's daughter is hiding) is seen a container of genetic material bearing the label "Dodgson D N CE3K 06/09/93", a reference to Lewis Dodgson and the release date of "Jurassic Park" (released in June 1993). The notation CE3K may be an inside joke referring to "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," another Spielberg production.

Dinosaur Island (2014 film)

• Lucas Winton tells Kathryn Rose Thompson to stay still during the Tyrannosaurus rex attack, but Kathryn says it can see you just fine and it is a silly theory.

Jurassic City

• The film is a mockbuster of the Jurassic Park series.

Dinotopia: Quest for the Ruby Sunstone

• The Dilophosaurus character named Spazz is given a neck frill like that of a frilled lizard, which is how the Dilophosaurus in Jurassic Park was incorrectly portrayed.

Dragon Wars: D-War

• The Buraki dragon drinks from a swimming pool in a suburban home in Los Angeles, reminiscing the T. rex buck drinking from a swimming pool in the San Diego home.
• The Atrox Army has a raptor-like cavalry which is equivalent to horse.

Speckles the Tarbosaurus

• In one particular scene, a Pukyongosaurus sneezes onto Speckles and Blue Eyes the Tarbosaurus, just like the Brachiosaurus did to Alan, Lex and Tim in the first movie.

Dino King: Journey To Fire Mountain

• The female Tarbosaurus character, Blue, has a lot of traits with Blue from Jurassic World, especially considering the fact that she has a blue stripe on her body, like Blue the Velociraptor, and they have the same name.

The House Bunny

• While discussing philanthropy with Shelly, Natalie says “Hi! Dinosaurs! Like everyone saw Jurassic Park.”

Resident Evil: Apocalypse

• The scene were Jill Valentine and Angela Ashford hide from zombie dogs in the kitchen is a direct nod from the Raptors in the Kitchen scene from the first Jurassic Park film.

King Cobra

• The king cobra-rattlesnake hybrid emits stock Velociraptor roars.

Anime

Doraemon: Nobita's Dinosaur 2006

• The plot of the film involves bringing an extinct animal back from a fossil like in the film (only instead of extracting DNA from amber, they de-fossilize the egg of a Futabasaurus, a Japanese plesiosaur).
• The climax of the movie has a battle between a Tyrannosaurus and a Spinosaurus. Only the Tyrannosaurus rex wins instead of the Spinosaurus, unlike JPIII.

Doraemon: Nobita's New Dinosaurs

• The Sinoceratops in the film has the same design as Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, including the coloration and holes in its frill.

Digimon Adventure (known as Digimon: Digital Monsters season 1)

File Island is the virtual Island that appears perfectly resembles Isla Nublar from the first Jurassic Park movie

Dinosaur King

Prehistoric Park in Dinosaur King.

• In Season 1 Episode 2 "Battle at the Pyramids", Terry the Tyrannosaurus and Spiny the Spinosaurus square off just like in Jurassic Park III, but with Terry winning instead of Spiny.
• In Season 1 Episode 41 "Lights, Camera, Destruction!" Director Stanley Spinoberg hired Dr. Owen as an adviser of a dinosaur movie called Prehistoric Park before the Pentaceratops appeared.
  • In one part of the episode was the rolling take of Spinoberg's film, where on dark rainy storm a vehicle is stuck in the mud, then suddenly a T. rex appeared in the scene menacingly. Almost inspired by the T. rex road attack sequence from the first Jurassic Park movie.
  • The character Stanley Spinoberg was inspired by Hollywood's actual Director Steven Spielberg.

Kirby: Right Back at Ya!

Dino Kingdom in Kirby: Right Back at Ya!.

• The two-part episode "Fossil Fools" is a parody of Jurassic Park, with the villain Dr. Moro creating dinosaur monsters with the DNA of dinosaurs and the characters.
  • The D-rex, a cross between King Dedede and a Tyrannosaurus makes its debut by eating some sheep and then chasing the Cappies, which mirrors the T. rex's own introduction in Jurassic Park.
  • Tiff, Tuff, and Chef Kawasaki get attacked by the Kawasakisaurus, a cross between Chef Kawasaki and a Velociraptor, in a kitchen. The Kawasakisaurus also makes its introduction by snorting onto the window of a door before using the handle to open.

Pokémon Advanced Battle

• In the episode Where's Armaldo (AG102/EP376), Ash and his friends stop by at Wales Island - a sparsely habitated island - in the Hoenn Region and discover Pokémon that is thought to be long-extinct. The group later encounters a scientist named Annie and her husband Professor Proctor, who work as a researchers in the laboratory on the island dedicated to cloning extinct Pokémon from root and claw fossils, similar to the concept of how dinosaurs are made in the book and film. Team Rocket tries to steal the data and cloned dinosaurs, akin to that of Lewis Dogson, Dennis Nedry, and Biosyn. At the end of the episode, the island is made into a nature preserve for extinct dinosaurs, similar to how Isla Sorna became a nature preserve at the end of The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

Record of Lodoss War: Chronicles of the Heroic Knight

• In the 8th episode, when the heroes are battling Shooting Star the red dragon, the roar of the T-rex from the original Jurassic Park film can be heard in the background.

• In "In Search of the Komodo Dragon", Austin Stevens points out that the Komodo dragon was "a living dinosaur that wouldn't look out of place in Jurassic Park".

• In the first episode "Land Of Giants", A tractor with a foot of a Meat eating Dinosaur is seen in the Car’s side mirror is a homage to the 1993 film Jurassic Park, which features a similar scene with a T-Rex chasing a jeep.

The Land Before Time

In the episode, The Cave of Many Voices, Chomper tells the others not to move because Red Claw can't see them if they keep still when he, Littlefoot and their friends are being chased, though Cera stated that Red Claw could still smell them. Red Claw, as well as other Sharpteeth in the franchise, also share some of the vocals of the T. rex in the films.

La Brea

• In the final episode "The Road Home (Part 2)" when Ty, Scott, and Paara were approached by a Tyrannosaurus rex, Scott tells the others to stay still stating: "According to "Jurassic Park", these guys have terrible vision.", but changes his mind when it ran towards them.

Mattel

Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse

• In the episode, The Shrinkerator, when Barbie drives, she looks in the rare view mirror as Blissa gives chase which reflects the jeep chase scene. When the girls are trapped in Chelsea's dollhouse, they feel footsteps again as Chelsea enters and pretend they're dolls by standing still in a parody of Grant and Lex standing still because the T-Rex can only see them when they move.
• In the episode, Malibu's Empirical Emporium, Barbie presents a kit on how to clone a T-Rex with dinosaur DNA and calls a T-Rex skeleton “Rexy."

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

• In the episode "The Big Mac Question", Apple Bloom noticing the apple monster's approach by seeing ripples in a bucket of water is a reference to Jurassic Park.

Nickelodeon

Action League NOW!

• The episode Yurplastic Park is parody of Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park. The planned destruction of the island by the U.S. Navy is reminscent to the Costa Rica National Guard's bombing of Isla Nublar in the book, but the order is cancelled in the last minute as the scientist convinces the admiral to protect the island all in the name of sciences and upcoming sequels. Notably, the episode has a crude reference to Jurassic Park IV, which ultimate became Jurassic World in 2015.

Kennen & Kel

• In one episode, both Kennen and Kel visit Universal Studios Orlando. Jurassic Park: The Ride is among the rides they try. It turns out the whole thing was a dream sequence in the flight as they mistakenly thought they were on their way to Florida but ended up going to Paris instead.

SpongeBob SquarePants

• In the episodes Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy and Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy II, parts of the Jurassic Park theme can be heard when SpongeBob gives a speech about old people and when he cries joyfully when he receives his prize.

The Fairly OddParents

A Jurassic Park Parody in The Fairly OddParents.

• In the special "Abra-Catastrophe", one of the 3 movies spoofed in Timmy Turner's nightmares was Jurassic Park, with the characters sitting in a Jeep watching the water rumble.
• When Timmy wishes for multiple dads, they all get different jobs. Interestingly, Timmy goes to see a movie titled "Jurassic Dad" (with a parodied logo) and all the characters (including the T. rex) were replaced with Timmy's dad clones playing them in their respective outfits.
• "Where's Wanda" (S03E28): In the student-parent movie nite, a booth with the logo of Jurassic Park (written as "Jurassic") and a T. rex figure on display is briefly seen.

The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius

• In the episode, Sorry Wrong Era, Hugh accidentally sends Jimmy, Carl and Sheen back into the Cretaceous Period where they encounter a Tyrannosaurus. Sheen tells Carl not to move, which Carl does, and that it can't see him if he doesn't move. But after Jimmy claims the theory to be discredited, Sheen yells at Carl to run and they all run for their lives. In the episode while Jimmy is telling Carl and Sheen about how their trapped in the Cretaceous Period, the ominous roar of Tyrannosaurus from Jurassic Park can be heard from the distance.
• In the episode, Party at Neutron's, Sheen uses Jimmy's time machine to bring a Velociraptor to the present. The music of the raptor attack is heard when the raptor attacks Jimmy.
• The Velociraptor's color scheme in Jimmy Neutron look similar to the color scheme of the male raptors in The Lost World.

Rabbids Invasion

• The name of the episode "Jurassic Rabbid" was a reference to Jurassic Park.

The Loud House

• In the episode "Project Loud House", the scene where the water in Lincoln's cup vibrates from his sisters' antics is a callback to the arrival of the Tyrannosaurus rex from the original film.
• In the episode "Snow Way Down", Clyde quotes Ray Arnold's famous line "Hold onto your butts" when he and the others were about to sled the Ramp of Insanity.
• In the episode "Lucha Fever with the Casagrandes", Carlos' first achievement involved dinosaur DNA, which reflects on mosquito in amber.
• In the episode "Don't You Fore-get About Me", Lily plays with a Brachiosaurus and Triceratops toy like Charlie Degler she also makes the Brachiosaurus bite the Triceratops.
• In the episode "School of Shock", when the dinosaur breaks out of the classroom, he roars as a banner for the craft fair falls the ground, referencing Rexy's famous final roar in the first movie.
• The way Tater Tot the guinea pig's eye appears in the window when he looks at the children in the playhouse in the episode "Small Blunder" is reminiscent of the way Rexy looked at Lex through the car window in the first film.

The Casagrandes

• In the episode "Zoo-mergency!", the way the water in Stanley's cup ripples from the vibrations of the animals is similar to how the T-rex's stomping was signaled by a cup of rippling water from the original film.

Primeval

There are several references to Jurassic Park in the Primeval series.

• In Episode 2.1 a black security guard is attacked by a Velociraptor. He is seen holding onto a wall in similar manner to Jophery in the first scene of the first movie. Also in Episode 2.1, Nick Cutter says "Clever Girl" in reference to the Velociraptors' intelligence.^{[citation needed]}

• In Episode 2.6/2.7 three of Velociraptors are being held in Oliver Leek's Creature Prison. Two of them are seen attacking different points of their cage which is again a reference to The Big One and her two insubordinates.

• When a raptor is killed by a Spinosaurus in Episode 4.1, the sound of the Jurassic Park Velociraptor can be heard.

• Finally, in Episode 5.5 the anomalies are revealed to the public when a Tyrannosaurus Rex rampages in central London. This may be a reference to the San Diego Incident.

• In the spin-off book The Lost Island appears this piece of conversation:

"Five anomalies, all on one little island! It'll be like Jurassic Park." "It could make Jurassic Park look like Disneyland," Abby told [Conner].

• In "A Hero Sits Next Door", Peter has an idea for his Facts of Life Transformers line "where Natilie is one of those spittin' lizards from Jurassic Park (Dilophosaurus)".
• In "North by North Quahog", Peter tells his family not to make any sudden moves when they're near a hooker, or else they'll be hunted, a clear parody of Dr. Grant's interpretation to the Tyrannosaurus (which surprisingly works).
• In "I Take Thee Quagmire", Peter plays with a toy Tyrannosaurus pretending to eat Quagmire's body and at the same time hums the movie's theme.
• In "Hell Comes to Quahog", a employee of a Superstore USA store witnesses the store's destruction before getting flattened by a "Super Savings" display while on the toilet a la Donald Gennaro and the Tyrannosaurus.
• In "Padre de Familia", Peter uses a goat as bait to attract Toby Keith, and after doing so Lois quotes Dr. Grant. Moments later, the goat is gone and a hat in the bushes disappears, mirroring the T. rex attack.
• In "Tales of a Third Grade Nothing", Peter goes to "Executive Bathroom Island" with John Hammond and the movie theme plays in the background. Later, he is sitting on the toilet in the middle of the forest in a peaceful setting (the exact opposite of what happened in the movie).
• In "German Guy", Peter quotes Ian Malcolm's statement "Life finds a way." in his exact same style in response to Lois' statement of Chris getting the washing machine pregnant despite the scientific impossibility.

• The episode "3-D Struction" depicts a dinosaur destroying a museum, with sounds that are almost identical to ones heard in Jurassic Park and The Lost World. In addition, the character Melbourne O'Reilly can be seen as a combination of Steve Irwin and Robert Muldoon. Also, many of the skeletons seen at the museum were dinosaurs that appeared in the JP franchise.

The Amazing World of Gumball

In the show there is a character, named Tina Rex is a Tyrannosaurus, in certain scenes revolving around her, there is often a recurring gag to reference Jurassic Park. She also resembles the T. rex from the 1st film, though by the start of season 2 of the show her newer design defines this more.

• In the episode "The Quest", frequent references to Jurassic Park were made with the dinosaur character Tina Rex:
  • First time is when Gumball and Darwin try to ask Tina nicely for their sister, Anais' doll back, but they are rudely interrupted as Tina roars at them with the JP T. rex's roar from the 1st film shadowed over several other roars.
  • Second time is when after the Waterson children accidentally wake Tina and giving chase, the character hide in broken-up car, in which Tina lowers her head only to show in eye and squint ominously. This is a parody to the scene when T. rex from the first lowers her head to and notices Lex and Tim in their tour vehicle. A moment after Tina tries to topple over the car in a similar way the T. rex topples over Lex and Tim's tour vehicle.
  • Third time at the end of the episode, Gumball tells Darwin not to move saying that Tyrannosaurus can only see you when you move, but Tina then says "That only works in movies". This is basically a parody to the T. rex attack scene when Dr. Grant and Lex are cornered by the T. rex and says his famous "Don't move, it can't see you if you don't move". This also parodies on Tyrannosaurus' eyesight and breaks the fourth with Jurassic Park.
• In the episode "The Others", Tina helps Gumball and Darwin stop the bus that Clare was on the same way the Tyrannosaurus buck from The Lost World: Jurassic Park chases and hits the bus during its rampage in San Diego.

• In the episode "Beach City Drift", the rippling water in the bucket at It's a Wash is a reference to the T. rex water scene from Jurassic Park.

• In "Old Towne Road Part 1", when Sugar Mama was revealed to be born and raised in Oklahoma, Oscar thought she was born and raised in Jurassic Park.

Jessie

• In the episode "The Talented Mr. Kipling", there's a reference when Mrs. Kipling the water in the glass cup shakes like in the original Jurassic Park.
• In the episode Punched Dumped Love, the burglar called Mrs. Kipling, the family's pet monitor lizard, a Velociraptor after he got caught by the latter. Also, when Zuri apologies to Mrs. Kipling for being a useless guard, she said "Who knew you can go all Jurassic Park on someone".
• In the episode The Telltale Duck, one of Bertram's fake backstories for his high school reunion is where he's a spy during the weekends, of which Jessie doubts it by saying she can hear him coming when her water glass does what she calls the "Jurassic Park shaky thingy," referencing the vibrating water cup scenes from the first movie.

Lilo & Stitch: The Series

Wildlife Preserve in Lilo & Stitch: The Series.

• In Season 2 Episode 14 "Retro", One of Stitch's cousins Experiment 210 AKA Retro, was designed to reduce people, animals, enemy weapons and technology to their primitive state; the transformation can be reversed by wrapping his tongue around the object or victim and spanking his bottom three times. At the end, his one true place is at a wildlife preserve creating extinct animals for a Mesozoic park. Lilo mentions that the wildlife preserve reminds her of a movie she once saw, a nod to Jurassic Park, which is referenced by the preserve's entrance as well as a living T. rex that Retro resurrected by unknown means and the rippling puddle before it appears.

DuckTales (reboot)

• In the episode "Beaks in a Shell!", Mark Beaks installed an "access denied" system to his GizmoCloud visor (that prevents anyone else from removing him from the program) that was very similar to Dennis Nedry's Whte rbt.obj virus, complete with an "Ah ah ah. You didn't say the magic word." message.

Big City Greens

• In the episode "Wild Side", when Bill was unable to stop a wild Cricket from escaping with an unconscious Remy, Alice said: "Clever boy. (WISH HIS FATHER WAS MORE CLEVER!)" parodying Robert Muldoon's popular quote.

Gigantosaurus (TV series)

• A Dilophosaurus character named Dilo is seen from time to time with Rocky, Mazu, Tiny & Bill in the 2019 Disney show Gigantosaurus. Dilo has a pair of frills on his neck like the Dilophosaurus from the first Jurassic Park Film. Whenever he laughs his frill spreads out, and Mazu warns him: it’ll get stuck somewhere and he’ll lose it.

Amphibia

• In "Cane Crazy", A Giant Bug disguised as a tree lets out a screeching sound like the Velociraptors from the Jurassic Park Films.
• In "Thai Feud", was a human character named Ned. The name may be a reference to his voice actor Wayne Knight’s character Dennis Nedry from Jurassic Park.
• In the middle of the episode "Beginning of the End", a pair of olms came out of the ground and attacked one of the giant Frobos, one of them let out the sound of one of the T. rexes from the Jurassic Park franchise.
• In the 48 minute episode "All In" is a scene where the two herons were attacking Anne’s parents inside the bus is very similar to “The Main Road” scene sequence in the movie Jurassic Park where the Tyrannosaurus rex is attacking one of the Jurassic Park tour vehicles while the two kids Lex and Tim are inside.

The Owl House

• In the episode "Thanks to Them", There was a Dinosaur attraction logo called “DINO LAND” on a shirt made by Hunter. The logo is similar to the Jurassic Park Logo. Except the dinosaur skeleton on the logo was a Triceratops instead of a T.Rex.

The Ghost and Molly McGee

• In the episode "Howlin' Harriet", the titular ghost's roar has the Tyrannosaurus rex roar mixed in.
• In the episode "Scaring is Caring", the puddle rippling from Molly's approach at the beginning of the song "Prepared to Be Scared" is a reference to the T. rex's approach in Jurassic Park.
• In the episode "All Night Plight", the way Molly and Scratch search for Libby in the tall grass as she sneaks up on them mirrors the Velociraptors in The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

Barney

• In "The Land of Make Believe", when the main characters tiptoed past the giant after he took a nap from blocking the gate, the gate was revealed to be the one for Jurassic Park, referencing the fact that Barney, Baby Bop and BJ are dinosaurs. As they did, BJ and Baby Bop seemed to have seen this place before. Barney knew what they meant, but is sure that (ironically) "...there's never been any dinosaurs here before.". The Jurassic Park theme even played as he said this.

The Magic School Bus

• In the episode "The Busasaurus", the scene with a T. rex pushing the school bus. It appears to be a reference to when the Tyrannosaurus rex attempts to push over the Explorer 04.

Dinosaur Train

• The movie Dinosaur Train: Adventure Island features many references to Jurassic Park, such as an Island theme park with dinosaurs (though these are robotic) that has problems causing the dinosaurs to go rampant.
  • Several attraction gateways resemble the entrances to Jurassic Park and Jurassic World.
  • A robot Tyrannosaurus even positions its head in front of the moon to resemble the franchise's logo (though its jaws and teeth fall off).
  • At the end of the movie, a robot Tyrannosaurus was revealed to have escaped and roars from a cliff, similar to the end of Jurassic World.

• The Velociraptors in the Carnivores series of hunting simulator video games made by Action Forms are identical with the Velociraptors from The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

Dead Space 2

• An achievement for the game is titled "Clever Girl" for surviving an encounter with a group of necromorphs that have similar ambush patterns to the Velociraptors that killed Robert Muldoon and whose last words were "Clever girl.".

Dino Crisis

Dino Crisis

• The game Dino Crisis was inspired by Jurassic Park itself, and Rick exclaims: "This is just like that movie!". Oddly enough, a character, Cooper, gets eaten by a T. rex and his death and name were later used in Jurassic Park III. The Velociraptors themselves are inspired by Jurassic Park's raptors. The franchise itself has been described by fans as "Resident Evil meets Jurassic Park" or "Resident Evil but dinosaurs due to similar gameplay mechanics and the survival horror genre itself.

Dino Crisis 2

• The Oviraptors in the game spit poison, like the Dilophosaurus in the first movie. But the Dilos are substitued by Oviraptors to avoid a cliche.
• During one cutscene in the game, there is a battle between a Tyrannosaurus rex and a Giganotosaurus, with the Giganotosaurus ending up killing the Tyrannosaurus rex. Later, this scene was copied by Jurassic Park III one year after, and the Giganotosaurus was substitued by Spinosaurus to not make the copy obvious, though the Giganotosaurus vs Tyrannosaurus fight will actually be copied exactly in Jurassic World: Dominion.

Dino Stalker (a.k.a Gun Survivor 3: Dino Crisis)

• The second stage requires the player to pass through a long grass area complete with Velociraptors popping out of the foliage, a direct reference to The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
• The Oviraptors that spit poison from Dino Crisis 2 return in the fifth level.
• The final boss battle against the Black Tyrannosaurus mirrors the jeep chase from the movie.

Dino D-Day

• The Microraptor in the game spit poison, like the Dilophosaurus in the first movie.
• An achievement for the game is titled "Shoot her!" for Saving a teammate by killing a raptor that has pounced them. Title of the achievement is a quote from Robert Muldoon in the beginning of the 1993 film Jurassic Park.
• An achievement for the game is titled "Clever girl" for killing Ilona (sniper class of the game) as a raptor after she's deployed rabbit (raptor bait). Title of the achievement is also known as Robert Muldoon's last words in the first movie.

Hungry Shark Evolution

• In the bio for one of the playable characters, Leo the Liopluerodon, it is stated that he is "straight outta Nublar Island," clearly referencing Isla Nublar.
  • The same character also has a reference to one of Mr. DNA's lines in the first film, "Bingo, Dino DNA," in the bio for one of his skins, the Stegoshark.

Ice Age: Dawn of The Dinosaurs - The Video Game (2009)

• In the game, the Dilophosaurus have frills, spit poison and are small, like the spitters from the first movie.
• The color patterns of the Pachycephalosaurus are similar to the Pachy from the second movie (but the color of this dinosaur was based on the Pachy from the movie).
• During one level of the game, Buck is heard saying "Clever Girl" as he battles against a pack of Guanlongs, referencing Muldoon's famous last words.

Jurassic: The Hunted

• The Dilophosaurus in the game have frills and spit poison.
• During the game, a Tyrannosaurus vs Spinosaurus battle occurs. The Spinosaurus wins and then eats the T.rex.
• Various elements in the game was inspired by the Jurassic Park franchise, principally the fact that Spinosaurus as the main antagonist in the game.

LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

• Plastic Man appears as a Tyrannosaurus rex on the outside of the building during the credits, and when it does, the Jurassic Park theme plays in the background.

• The original MoH game features a Velociraptor (from the PSX The Lost World: Jurassic Park game) called Steve, as a bonus uniform. Both games are made by DreamWorks Interactive. Spielberg himself created the game (and its consequent series). Also, Michael Giacchino composed the game's soundtracks, like what he did to most of DreamWorks' Jurassic Park games except Trespasser.

• The roar of Morudomunto sounds exactly like Albertosaurus from Jurassic Park Operation Genesis.

Orion: Dino Horde

• When you are eaten by a Tyrannosaurus, you get the achievement "The Dude on the Toilet." This is an allusion to Donald Gennaro's death in the Mainroad Attack Scene.

Pokémon Series

• The concept of reviving fossilized pokemon from DNA found in fossils mirrors the method of obtaining dinosaur DNA in the Jurassic Park novel.
• Aerodactyl is revived from extracting DNA from fossilized amber, similar to how the movie explains the ancient DNA.

Sun/Moon/Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon

• On the Northeast side of Akala island id the Fossil Restoration Center. The man who runs it calls it the "Dream Park" and wishes to turn it into a park where fossil pokemon can roam free.

Primal Carnage

• The loading screen features a theropod footprint filled with water. When the ground shakes, ripples form in the water. Ripples in a T. rex footprint appear multiple times in the first two Jurassic Park films.
• The Dilophosaurus in the game spit poison, like in the first movie.
• An achievement for the game is titled "They Can Afford More Glasses" for spitting on 50 humans as a Dilophosaurus which referees to the "Dennis Nedry and The Dilophosaurus" scene in the first movie where Dennis Nedry said "I can afford more glasses".
• An achievement for the game is titled "Fetch the Stick, Stupid" for Killing 20 Dilophosaurs with a Pyro grenade. Title of the achievement is a quote from "Dennis Nedry and The Dilophosaurus" scene in the first movie.
• By killing 5 Dilophosaurus you get an achievement called "No Wonder You're Extinct" which is a quote from "Dennis Nedry and The Dilophosaurus" scene in the first movie.

Resident Evil franchise

Resident Evil (1996)/Resident Evil REmake (2002)

• The live action introduction where the STARS are chased by Cerberus wherein the undead dogs roar like dinosaurs from the first film have been noted by fans.
• The Hunter's ticking of claws in the floor resembles the way the Velociraptors tap their claws in the film.

Resident Evil: Outbreak File #2 (2004)

• The scenario "Wild Things" takes place in the Raccoon City Zoo wherein zombiefied animals have broke free from their enclosures similar to Jurassic Park. Should the zombie elephant be the boss scenario (player-determinant), a short cutscene plays wherein the zombie elephant destroys the zoo's front entrance and roars like the Tyrannosaurus from Jurassic Park and The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Notably, some have compared the zombie elephant from the T. rex in Dino Crisis, another survival horror game by Capcom which involves dinosaurs.

Resident Evil 6

• Derek C. Simmons is transformed into a Giganotosaurus-like mutant after being shot with the enhanced C-Virus. A segement in the final boss includes both Leon S. Kennedy and Helena Harper mounting two gatling guns behind the BSAA Humvee driven by an operative while the Theropod Simmons chases after the Humvee, a homage to a T-rex chasing the Jeep in Jurassic Park.

• In the Time Twister expansion pack, the official cover features a Tyrannosaurus chasing a man resembling Ian Malcolm inside a red sports convertible, parodying the famous scene from The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

Skylanders

Skylanders: Trap Team

• In Shrednaught's intro cinematic, Troll 1 looks to his side and gasps, and then pulls Troll 2's head where he gasps too. This is a play on Jurassic Park, where this happens in the Brachiosaurus scene.

Skylanders: Imaginators

• One of Tri-Tip's upgrades, Jurassic Whirled, is a play on Jurassic World.

Terarria

A Baby Dinosaur pet can be spawned from an Amber Mosquito pet-summoning item, a reference to Jurassic Park where dinosaurs are cloned using blood found in mosquitoes trapped in amber.

Tomb Raider

Lara Croft vs T.Rex

In Tomb Raider Anniversary, Lara Croft enters a Lost Valley in which raptors and a T. rex still live. When the Tyrannosaurus rex first appears in the game, a raptor is biting the Tyrannosaurus in its back. The T. rex takes the raptor in its jaws and throws it to the right of the screen. The raptor hits a pillar, which collapses. This is obviously an allusion to the "Tyrannosaurus rex versus raptor" scene at the end of the first movie.

Turok

• The Utahraptors possess a few head feathers similar to the Velociraptors of Jurassic Park III.

Zoo Tycoon series

Zoo Tycoon

• The original game's first expansion pack "Dinosaur Digs" has the same premise as the Jurassic Park franchise, which is showcasing long extinct animals in a theme park or a zoo. There are some parallels like electrified reinforced fencing used to contain the larger and more dangerous animals, rangers in helicopters tranquilizing escaped and rampaging animals, scientists incubating the dinosaurs from eggs and then looking after them akin to zookeepers, and having to clone the animals using genetic research. The only difference being that Zoo Tycoon also features animals from the Ice Age or Pleistocene period. However, ironically a year later Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis would take inspiration from Zoo Tycoon.
• In the game's description for the Velociraptor, the first paragraph mentions raptors having the ability to open doors which is a reference to both the Jurassic Park novels and films. The description then mentions their ability to communicate to each other in complex bird-like calls; a reference to Jurassic Park III which debuted in theaters a year prior to the expansion's release date. The game's Velociraptor is also inaccurately depicted as a human-sized reptilian creature without fuzz or feathers.
• The intermediate scenario "Jurassic Zoo" tasks the player with rebuilding a spectacularly failed dinosaur park created by a wealthy industrialist into a successful zoo featuring all the game's available Jurassic dinosaurs. The map used is obviously inspired by Jurassic Park.
• In the game there is an easter egg involving the Tyrannosaurus rex. When the T. rex escapes its enclosure and approaches a bathroom stall, it will destroy it and reveal a scared man inside it, referencing Donald Gennaro's death from the first film.

Zoo Tycoon 2

• Like its predecessor, this game has an expansion pack focusing on reviving extinct animals, though besides dinosaurs and Cenozoic megafauna it also includes recently extinct Holocene species as well as Dimetrodon which lived and died before the Mesozoic era. The game has an Extinct Animal Research Lab with a scientist in it which can be used to clone any extinct animal in the game, as long as all of its fossils have been found.
• Like the first game, Zoo Tycoon 2 also references the intelligence of the dromaeosaurs via the in-game description, stating that raptors can open doors with their hands and communicate with each other in complex bird-like sounds.

Jurassic Park

• A parody of MacArthur Park by Weird Al Yankovic. Includes a short summary of the movie and various spoofs of many characters. It was even approved by Steven Spielberg.

Toylines

The Hong Kong-based toy company Chap Mei produces a toyline called "Dino Quest", "Dino Valley", and "Dino Valley 2" wherein the playsets heavily borrow vehicles and accessories from the Mattel and Kenner toylines.

• The theme "The Lost World" from the The Lost World: Jurassic Park soundtrack was used during the ride of the drop tower Mystery Castle from 1998 to 2015.
