Kelly Curtis Malcolm was the daughter of Ian Malcolm during the second film. She is a mixture of her novel counterpart, Kelly Curtis and of Arby Benton in The Lost World (novel)
[edit] In The Lost World: Jurassic Park
Early in the movie, Kelly says that she was kicked off the Gymnastics team. She later uses those Gymnastics skills to ward of a Velociraptor, at which Ian Malcom comments on her spectacular Gymnastics : "You were Kicked off the team?".
