- Koolasuchus and Sarcosuchus cause a problem with the usual naming conventions of hybrids: the first part of one dino's name and the second part of the other's. Since they both end in "suchus" the hybrid adopts "saurus" to avoid giving it the same name as Koolasuchus.
- Koolasaurus first appeared in the game as an opponent in the battle arena with no way of creating it for the player's own personal park. The June 10, 2015 update allowed it to be unlocked.
- In the March 16th, 2016 update, Koolasaurus was slightly nerfed from its' previous stats of 4,386 health and 1,675 attack.
