Metriacanthosaurus is unlocked by winning a Metriacanthosaurus pack from either the roulette or if the player places in the top 1% of the Metriacanthosaurus tournament. Additional individuals can be purchased in the market for 7,500 DNA or found through card packs.
As of January 30, 2017, a level 40 Metriacanthosaurus can be fused with a level 40 Dimorphodon to create the hybrid Metriaphodon.
