Metriorhynchus is an extinct genus of marine crocodyliform that inhabitated oceans during the Middle to Late Jurassic. It is not known for certain if Metriorhynchus spent all of its time in the water or if it returned to the land.‭ ‬On land Metriorhynchus would have certainly been more cumbersome,‭ ‬as evidenced by its marine specialisations,‭ ‬but it may have had to for special tasks such as laying eggs,‭ ‬just like turtles have to.‭ Metriorhynchus was a versatile and opportunistic predator, predated upon both the armored belemnites, fast moving fish and the giant filter feeding fish Leedsichthys.

Jurassic Park: Builder[]

see Metriorhynchus/Builder

Metriorhynchus can be recived from the DNA Rescue and can then be created in the Aquatic Park in the game Jurassic Park: Builder.

Jurassic World: The Game[]

see Metriorhynchus/JW: TG

Metriorhynchus can be created in Jurassic World: The Game as a super rare amphibian even though it is a sea crocodile. In reality, Metriorhynchus had fins and lived underwater unlike its game counterpart which can be on land and had fresh water crocodyliform-like legs. The real Metriorhynchus lacked osteoderms for better mobility underwater, while the game's Metriorhynchus has osteoderms.
