Mount Sibo is an active volcano located in the Northern part of Isla Nublar.
History
In February 2017, a month before the Dinosaur Protection Group was established, the Costa Rican Institute of Volcanology (CRIV) reported that Mount Sibo had become active again for the first time since it was discovered in 1525. The volcano was reclassified as active in September after a private helicopter illegally flew too close to the island and its passengers spotted several ruptures of magma from the mountain peak. The following month, on October 5, Mt. Sibo's Volcanic Status Level (VSL) was set to MAG 03 for significant activity.[1]
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
Mount Sibo will destroy Isla Nublar in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Due to the exploding volcano, the DPG, as well as Owen Grady, go to save the dinosaurs from a second extinction.
