Parasaurolophus is a 3-star Large Herbivore in Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis. Its fossils are found in Hell Creek Formation A along with Acrocanthsaurus and Torosaurus. Parasaurolophus can live for exactly 5 years with 100% DNA.
Parasaurolophus like to live in herds of 5-10 individuals and will socialise best with other hadrosaurs Edmontosaurus and Corythosaurus, as well as Ouranosaurus. It is relatively fast and uses speed and numbers to escape from small carnivores, although usually cannot outrun larger predators such as Tyrannosaurus.
In the ParkEdit
Parasaurolophus is one of the 9 possible starting dinosaurs, and is the fourth-most expensive to hatch. Like other 3-star large herbivores (Corythosaurus, Camarasaurus and Edmontosaurus), Parasaurolophus costs $3,240 to hatch into the park. Its fossils cost between $4,200 and $9,600 in the Fossil Market.
Its behavior will entertain Fun Lovers and, to an extent, Dino Nerds, although they will prefer to see Parasaurolophus in an enclosure with other dinosaurs of the same place and time, such as Torosaurus.
