Peter Ludlow was John Hammond's nephew and the CEO of InGen following John Hammond's retirement after an accident that occurred on Isla Sorna. Peter was greedy and sought only the money that would come from transporting the dinosaurs to San Diego. He had a scheme to capture dinosaurs in Jurassic Park San Diego after he thought San Diego was the perfect animal city in the world. He had mentioned San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, and mentioned the football team San Diego Chargers.
He had been very distrusted by Roland Tembo, although Ludlow treated him gratefully than any one else. He had sited the Base Camp on a game trail, ignoring Roland Tembo's warning that carnivores hunt on game trails, leading to the Tyrannosaurs attacking them, or this is possibly because Sarah Harding had the infant's blood on her jacket. Ludlow did not feel empathic to all the innocent men who had been a great help to them, and he did nothing. He replaced the main antagonist of Lewis Dodgson. Tim and Lex Murphy did not like him because he was greedy and didn't care about anything. He still tried to endorse his park after a foolishly-careless employee had opened the S.S. Venture's cargo hold doors, and let the adult Tyrannosaurus out of the boat and run uncontrolled in San Diego.

To lure the adult Tyrannosaurus back on the boat, Sarah Harding and Ian Malcolm returned the infant T-rex to the cargo hold. Ludlow's greed is what eventually killed him, he believed as long as he had the baby T-Rex everything would be fine and he could save his future park. The adult T-Rex returned to the boat and as Ludlow tried to escape, the T-rex plucked him by his leg off the stairs and was placed in front of the infant. Ludlow was killed by the infant T-rex and the Boat was sent back to Site B. It is certain that John Hammond gained his control of InGen again, and he has revealed that humans must be absent in order to the dinosaurs to survive on Isla Sorna in harmony.

[edit] Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis
He is a primary character in Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis, and in more new interest, he is the financial director of InGen while he was only the newly-elected C.E.O. of InGen in the film. He gives you the financial report of how much money you have spent, and how much money you must make to keep your business healthy in financial development, or Jurassic Park can become permanently closed, and you must start the game all over again. The main dialogue he only has is Let's discuss some things, shall we? . He is most notably the financial director because of his desire of money.
