Gallimimus "teeth" may be tomia?[]
So, what people are referring to as "teeth" in the JW Gallimimus may actually be tomia. These are structures found in some birds (such as geese) that bear resemblance to teeth, but do not have enamel, and thus are softer, and would not be fossilized as easily. Tomia would be very useful for Ornithomimids eating, and would further be a strong connection between non-avian dinosaurs and birds. -User:11Morey May 24, 2019 9:09 PM (EST)
