Games based on movies?[]
Is Operation Genesis based on Jurassic Park III? I think it is based on the entire franchise, not just one particular film. Same goes for Trespasser.
- Yes, you do have a point there. What it means is... that the game was produced IN RESPONSE TO A MOVIE. Trespasser was produced and released simultaneously with The Lost World. Trespasser is a bit based on TLW because it contains allusions to the InGen Hunters and Cathy Bowman.
- Operation Genesis contains elements of all movies (but doesn't take place in any of them), but it was released after the succes of Jurassic Park III. Without JPIII I don't think it was made. Without JPIII I don't think it would contain a Spinosaurus that can defeat T. rex.
