With Trevorrow's 2014 statements, JP5 has move so far into the realm of possibility that it should have an article.

With Jurassic World, we've put all rumours and speculation into a separate rumours article. However, I think that we shouldn't do that with JP5. Until the production really starts, the rumours will be the only thing to tell about JP5. When the production really starts we could move all news and rumours to a separate article. 2010

Can someone just move this page to rumors...people keep insisting on calling it THE whatever...Styracosaurus Rider 14:43, November 20, 2010 (UTC)

I'm Assuming Jurassic Park V will be set around a year after Jurassic World.

Dinosaurs

Here's what I think what the dinosaurs are in Jurassic World II. Tyrannosaurus Rex velociraptor spinosaurus Parasaurolophus Stegosaurus Iguanodon Brachiosaurus Monolophosaurus Stegoceratops Compsognathus Ichthyosaurus Liopleurodon Triceratops Stegoceratops Pteranodon Ornithocheirus

Styracosaurus

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The unidentified ceratopsid in the sea in JW:FK is Styracosaurus. I saw the trailer, and before the Gyro hits the sea, the Styraco can be seen there. Trust me on this one.

Remove Ankylosaur carcass

Ok so we had unidentified carcasses in TLW too, don’t see them on the confirmed dinosaur page. Alternatively we should add Concavenator and Dimetrodon to the list, as they appear in model form.Edaphosaurus (talk) 17:59, December 17, 2017 (UTC)

What we could do is create a list of non-living prehistoric creatures seen in the film and add the unidentified fined carnivore (still not confirmed, though I very much believe it's Concavenator), DimetrodonDilophosaurus (as it seems that it will, unfortunatly only be a model), and that unidentified alverezsaurid we got an image of a while back on to that list. What do you think? {{SUBST:User:Logo8th/Sig}} 18:33, December 16, 2017 (UTC)

No I disagree with everything. Put back that ankylosaur carcass (probably Hoplitosaurus). Put back Dilophosaurus (don't we have a reliable source for this dinosaur?). Well, yeah, make a link to the non-living prehistoric creatures, such as Unidentified Finned Carnivore (Concavenator), Kosmoceratops, Protoceratops, Dimetrodon, and Mononykus. But please put back the ankylosaur carcass and Dilo. UltraMegaDude (talk) 21:36, December 17, 2017 (UTC)

UltraMegaDude (talk) 16:15, December 17, 2017 (UTC)

Can't you just wait until we hear something? Assuming and guessing is extremely unprofessional. CrashBash (talk) 16:26, December 17, 2017 (UTC)

But we don’t have animals like Alamosaurus on the list of dinosaurs in the first film, as of yet we have not reason to believe Dilophosaurus is appearing as Dilophosaurus, rather as a model in the background Edaphosaurus (talk) 17:59, December 17, 2017 (UTC)

Don't worry; I have already added the non-living prehistoric creatures in the list of dinos, and I have labeled them; I have even labeled Dilophosaurus as a diorama currently, until we can get more evidence that it is a living and breathing thing in the movie. Oh, and can someone make a page for this "Unidentified Alvarezsaurid Statue" (which is obviously Mononykus, although unconfirmed)? Is everyone okay with that? EDIT: Alright, since no one bothered to make the Unidentified Alvarezsaurid Statue page, I have made it myself. Thanks, Logo8th, for updating the JW:FK page. UltraMegaDude (talk) 21:35, December 17, 2017 (UTC)

Put back the unidentified dinos pages

Why did someone remove them? Put them back.

Three things.

  1. Remember that on a talk page, you need to sign your posts.
  2. Don't be bossy.
  3. No. The only person who can tell me to do that right now is BastionMonk. Those pages had caused so many problems and arguments regarding speculation it was better to have them removed. CrashBash (talk) 20:59, December 21, 2017 (UTC)

Allosaurus, Pachyrhinosaurus, and Indoraptor should be in this page

I know they aren't confirmed yet, but since every source of media is pointing at the three by their real names. So should we add them in or no? Dinosaurus1 (talk) 20:44, January 18, 2018 (UTC)

I know they aren't confirmed yet - you've answered your own question. CrashBash (talk) 21:04, January 18, 2018 (UTC)
LOL. But Indoraptor should be in the page, right? Dinosaurus1 (talk) 23:48, January 18, 2018 (UTC)
Please remember to sign your posts on a talk page. CrashBash (talk) 23:17, January 18, 2018 (UTC)
Like I said, should Indoraptor be in? I think so, because its pretty much given an official name, possible appearance in the B-T-S, etc.
It has not been confirmed for the movie itself. You are speculating. Also, sign your posts. CrashBash (talk) 07:48, January 19, 2018 (UTC)

Why is the page locked?

And can registrated users still edit it? Dinosaurus1 (talk) 18:07, January 23, 2018 (UTC)

Because people keep trying to change the list of confirmed dinosaurs --Edaphosaurus (talk) 18:09, January 23, 2018 (UTC)

We can just undo the unconfirmed edits. Dinosaurus1 (talk) 18:21, January 23, 2018 (UTC)

But if they keep adding them back, it's called "edit warring", which simply isn't allowed on any wiki. In that instance, the only way around it is to protect the page until the movie comes out. CrashBash (talk) 18:32, January 23, 2018 (UTC)
Yes, I know it's edit warring, but there was this user which made an edit about Allo, Pachy, and Para once, and I undid it. He didn't undo my edit. Oh, and if this page is going to be protected, then let registrated users edit it, so we can keep track of it easier. Dinosaurus1 (talk) 18:40, January 23, 2018 (UTC)
Doesn't matter, it's still counter-productive. Also, registered users CAN edit it, how do you think you're able to edit it? And please stop bossing me around...I've told you this many times already and it's annoying. CrashBash (talk) 19:52, January 23, 2018 (UTC)
Oh. Didn’t know that registrated users can edit it. Sorry.

What should we do about Suchomimus, Microceratus, and Pachycephalosaurus

Should we add them to this list, since they survived?Dinosaurus1 (talk) 23:42, February 8, 2018 (UTC) Microceratus and Suchomimus already had the info, but I added it to the Pachy page. Animalman57 (talk) 00:04, February 9, 2018 (UTC) Still, I’m saying should we add them to this page. Dinosaurus1 (talk) 12:52, February 9, 2018 (UTC)

They haven't been confirmed to be in it, so no, probably not. ErmineGlow (talk) 13:53, February 9, 2018 (UTC)

The dinosaur list is only for dinosaurs that appeared in the film. Remember that a lot of dinosaurs were listed on the Jurassic World website, but didn't appear in the movie. CrashBash (talk) 14:19, February 9, 2018 (UTC)

Should we add the photos from the second trailer onto this page?

It's really important? Dinosaurus1 (talk) 01:14, March 2, 2018 (UTC)

Probably should wait until the movie's release. It will be less spoilerous in some level. The other articles, not sure yet. BattleshipMan (talk) 01:18, March 2, 2018 (UTC)
Okay, I guess so...
Although, there are some images from the first trailer on that page, so I doubt it will be any more spoiler than it is. BattleshipMan (talk) 02:16, March 2, 2018 (UTC)

Modern animals being saved as well?

Tufteddeer-2

Wonder if we'll see the deer (this is the real life Elaphodus cephalophus, but they could just use one and say its' Elaphodus cephalophus nublarus?

Wonder if in Fallen Kingdom, we'll see more modern animals and that'll try to save some of them from the volcano, too, like the Nublar Tufted Deer.

  • I have been asking this for the past two months, I think that at the very least the one native species of Isla Nublar, Nublar Tufted Deer, will be saved. And since this is the only native species that can't be found anywhere else, this is a very likely cannidate to be saved.Theferretman21 (talk) 13:06, March 12, 2018 (UTC)Theferretman21
    • It’s unlikely that they’ll touch on the native animals of the island in this dinosaur movie --Edaphosaurus (talk) 15:58, March 12, 2018 (UTC)
      • I want them to be saved! Dinosaurus1 (talk) 16:46, March 12, 2018 (UTC)
        • Sure, more power to you, but that isn’t going to be enough to make it into the movie. I mean, just imagine if one of the characters is suddenly all “we have to save this endangered species of deer so let’s leave the dinosaurs for a bit and go on this 15 minute detour to find it”. Like it ain’t gonna happen. And conversely, people would be really confused if they just stuck the deer in the background and YouTube would be full of theories about the appearance of a horned Eohippus or a baby Megaloceros or whatever. Basically it’s not worth the effort --Edaphosaurus (talk) 23:25, March 12, 2018 (UTC)
          • Maybe it can be saved off-screen. Y'know, it still gets saved, but not seen on camera. How's that? Dinosaurus1 (talk) 23:28, March 12, 2018 (UTC)

Should we add the revealed opening on Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom?

Should we, since it was already revealed? Dinosaurus1 (talk) 19:10, May 5, 2018 (UTC)

Lock the page

There are people spoiling the film rig that now, please lock the page. Dinosaurus1 (talk) 16:10, June 6, 2018 (UTC)

The diorama dinosaurs are taxidermy...

Apparently all the dinosaurs in the Dioramas are taxidermised specemins of early Ingen experiments. That means Dimetrodon, Concavenator, Mononykus and Dracorex are now canon.

Edaphosaurus (talk) 11:29, June 29, 2018 (UTC)

Whoa! So that means they were cloned early on?! Dinosaurus1 (talk) 14:28, June 29, 2018 (UTC)
Also, don’t forget Diplodocus. A Jurassic Outpost article said that Diplodocus is a taxidermied specimen as well. https://jurassicoutpost.com/comprehensive-visual-guide-to-every-jurassic-world-park-dinosaur/ Dinosaurus1 (talk) 16:48, August 24, 2018 (UTC)
Hey there, I wanted to clarify that Anthony Ewins on Twitter apparently said that the taxidermied specimens are actually statues, although they were all a wishlist of what Lockwood wanted to clone.

Spinosaurus scene scrapped from film?

Is there any source for this? Dinosaurus1 (talk) 15:24, June 29, 2018 (UTC)

Hmm, maybe they got confused with the deleted scene of Dilophosaurus? I even remember rumours about Metriacanthosaurus being cut, one would hope more light may be shed on all this, but if we aren't getting deleted scenes on the DVD I doubt it Edaphosaurus (talk) 22:05, June 29, 2018 (UTC)
This Jurassic Outpost article confirmed that the deleted scenes may not be released, sadly. Dinosaurus1 (talk) 23:38, June 29, 2018 (UTC)

https://jurassicoutpost.com/jurassic-world-fallen-kingdom-almost-featured-dilophoaurus-but-dont-expect-the-deleted-scenes-to-be-released/

There is a new piece of concept art for the scene where the Indoraptor climbs on top of the Triceratops skull that shows that a skeleton of Spinosaurus was supposed to be one of the skeletons in Lockwood Manor. {{SUBST:User:Logo8th/Sig}} 19:45, July 3, 2018 (UTC)

Brachiosaurus that died in Fallen Kingdom is the same as the first film confirmed?

Here's the link: https://screenrant.com/jurassic-world-fallen-kingdom-park-connection-brachiosaurus/ Animalman57 (talk) 21:37, July 3, 2018 (UTC)

Does this mean she gets her own article like the Tyrannosaurus did because she’s a “character”? --Edaphosaurus (talk) 22:00, July 3, 2018 (UTC)
If not, at least we should mention it in the Brachiosaur page. Animalman57 (talk) 22:06, July 3, 2018 (UTC)

Should we create pages for Teratophoneus and Peloroplites?

Should the pages for Teratophoneus and Peloroplites be created? I would think so because Kosmoceratops has its own page and it appears as a skeleton. Dinosaurus1 (talk) 20:42, August 24, 2018 (UTC)

I, for one, agree, especially considering that we now have a page for Kosmoceratops, a dinosaur in FK that only appears as a skeleton. {{SUBST:User:Logo8th/Sig}} 21:16, August 24, 2018 (UTC)
I know right? I even mentioned that Kosmoceratops has its own page because it appears as a skeleton in Fallen Kingdom. Dinosaurus1 (talk) 21:18, August 24, 2018 (UTC)
Ironically, Peloroplites and Kosmoceratops are now canon because of this Twitter Post. So should we create pages for them or... https://mobile.twitter.com/ChrisLikesDinos/status/1042652717100027909 Dinosaurus1 (talk) 14:20, September 20, 2018 (UTC)

“Reception” section for the article

I noticed I need every other film page, there was a Reception section. So maybe we can do it for this page as well. Dinosaurus1 (talk) 19:01, November 3, 2018 (UTC)

Well, mostly the reception section is for the how well received a film got when it came out. So yes, there should be a reception section there. BattleshipMan (talk) 21:02, November 3, 2018 (UTC)
