Now that Wikia offer help to sex up the main page, let us discuss what we would like to see on the main page.

What I would like to see:

Colors and lay-out more inspired by Jurassic World, rather than the Lost World. More blue and transparancy.
A different text font.
A decent countdown bar.
Navigation bar more like the bar on the Primeval wiki
Background image showing dinosaurs and characters from the films.

The background image and countdown bar sound good, but I think our current navigation bar and text font are fine.

I agree with your suggestions, Bastion, but I'm with Jurassic Park Treasury when it comes to the navbar. I think we should implement the "Jurassic Park News" forum into the main page as a source of news because it can be updated more quickly than the old JP News bar.

I agree that much more influence on the new film should be apparent. Nav bar seems okay as is, but would probably be nicer if we had time to update it. Color scheme should be primarily chrome-silver, blue, etc. to match Jurassic World. It would be nice if we could have the more up-to-date stuff on the newsfeed, not just on blogs/forums as well. I think new visitors would be much more likely to find important info about Jurassic World on the main page, rather than navigating to the forums
