Christina L. "Tina" Bowman was the daughter of Mike Bowman and Ellen Bowman in the Jurassic Park novel. She was attacked by a Procompsognathus.

In the novels Edit

Jurassic Park Edit

In 1989, Tina's parents took her on a vacation to the Cabo Blanco Biological Preserve in Costa Rica. They eventually found a beach, and settled down. Tina began searching for animals to catalogue for her school project. She came across a strange bipedal lizard, and tried to interact with it. However, it then attacked her, causing severe injuries. Her parents then drove her to a hospital. After she had recovered, she drew a picture of the lizard that had attacked her, and gave it to Dr. Marty Guitierrez for identification.

It was eventually revealed that the lizard which had attacked her was actually a Procompsognathus that had been cloned by InGen, and had escaped from Isla Nublar.

In the films Edit

The Lost World: Jurassic Park Edit

Tina did not appear in the first film, as the entire subplot of dinosaurs escaping to the mainland and attacking children was written out of the film.

However, in the second film, she was replaced by Cathy Bowman, a British girl who was attacked by Compsognathus on Isla Sorna.
