The Unidentified small theropod was a species of theropod that appeared in the fifth issue of the IDW comic series Jurassic Park: Dangerous Games.

Identity[]

These small theropods may be Juravenator, a genus of compsognathid dinosaur that is known to have had feathers. While these small theropods do appear to have feathers, it is unknown as to wether or not they really are Juravenator.

Story[]

This theropod was one of the dinosaurs that InGen created and that became wild on Isla Nublar after the incident that occurred on the island.

At some point, several of these therapods were captured by drug lord Gabriel Cazares and his men, who kept them within the original Jurassic Park Visitor's Center.

During CIA agent Daniel Espinoza's time on Isla Nublar, he and Dr. Francis White broke in to the Visitor's Center in an attempt to stop Cazares. While Espinoza battled Cazares' pet ankylosaur, White proceeded to set all of the captured dinosaurs free, including these theropods. Several of Cazares' men attempted to round up the theropods with cattle prods, one of which was stolen by Espinoza to defeat the ankylosaur. The attempt to round them up was unsuccessful, however, as the theropods were later seen running around the area. One was briefly recaptured by one of Cazares' men. It is unknown what happened to this individual, but it is likely that it was able to escape with the rest of the captured dinosaurs.

It is unknown what happend to the small theropods after the defeat of Cazares. However, it is likely that they survived and continued living on Isla Nublar.
