As the title says - Happy 10th Anniversary of Jurassic Park III!

Now, after ten years and nearly 3700 days of waiting - some extremely important Jurassic Park IV news has surfaced!

During a conversation about Captain America, Joe Johnston was asked about Jurassic Park IV.

Quote, "We are in discussions about 'Jurassic Park 4'. The most important thing I can tell you is that it starts a new trilogy that will go off in a different direction - a completely different direction that is very exciting, and different from anything we've seen. It starts with the history of the first trilogy, but it spins off in a completely different direction. That's all I can tell you."

Listen to how positive Johnston sounds - it starts a new trilogy, it starts with the history of the first trilogy, it spins in a completely different direction.

At this point, it seems that they won't be going back to the island, from what he says.

That is all of the important information for now - but note that I have a possible explanation for what it might be about. Prehistoric Marine Life. He says it won't be on the island - but in the sea, no word against it yet from him. I've head many user's statements that we don't know how they would resurrect them - but maybe there's a way we can figure it out. Either marine reptiles, or back to our favorite dinosaurs - rampaging through a city. Maybe they try to make a park in the city - and they break out there? That may be a plan. In my opinion, it should not be called the Extinction if this isn't the finale of the series. Extinction blurts out "END."

So - what are your thoughts? Post your ideas and for JP4 and your happiness for the 10th Anniversary of JP3!
