Yes, it's finally here! After 12 years of waiting for such an announcement, the director for Jurassic Park IV has been announced. It has been confirmed that Colin Trevorrow will be helming the director's seat for the fourth installment in the Jurassic Park series.

Now, for some reactions. How do you feel about this choice? Take note that Trevorrow has only directed a short film, a documentary, a TV movie, and a theatrical film entitled "Safety Not Guarenteed." My issue is that he has never really done any action movies before, nor scary, and his works are usually romantic or comedic as shown by the majority.

Personally, I'm a bit uneasy on the decision, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens. From what I have been told, Trevorrow is a fan of the series and grew up with watching the trilogy, so that does give me hope. He is said to have been hired for the job because he will be able to preserve the characters that have been created in the original story. So who knows? Maybe he will pull it off. But aside from that, I'm not entirely for him being the director. But I will definitely see the movie when it is released in theaters on June 13th, 2014.
